چکیده
Hypersonic flow over a two-dimensional compression corner with Mach number of 7.7 and unit Reynolds 4.2 × 10 6 m ?1 is numerically investigated. Special emphasis given to the onset global instability respect three-dimensional perturbations. Global stability analysis performed for various ramp angles wall temperatures. It found that shock-induced separated system becomes unstable when angle beyond certain value. The critical increases slightly temperature, although length separation region significantly enlarged. shown be closely linked occurrence secondary beneath primary bubble. A criterion established based on scaled defined in triple-deck theory predict boundary, which depends free-stream conditions geometries only.

Numerical Simulation of Shock-Wave/Boundary/Layer Interactions in a Hypersonic Compression Corner Flow
Numerical results are presented for the shock-boundary layer interactions in a hypersonic flow over a sharp leading edge compression corner. In this study, a second- order Godunov type scheme based on solving a Generalized Riemann Problem (GRP) at each cell interface is used to solve thin shear layer approximation of laminar Navier-Stokes (N-S) equations. The calculated flow-field shows general...
متن کاملInstability of supersonic compression ramp flow.
The instability of supersonic compression ramp flow is investigated. It is assumed that the Reynolds number is large and that the governing equations are the unsteady triple-deck equations. The mean flow is first calculated by solving the steady equations for various scaled ramp angles α, and the numerical results suggest that there is no singularity for increasing ramp angles. The stability of...

A method for computing inviscid hypersonic ow over complex conngurations using unstructured meshes is presented. The unstructured grid solver uses an edge{based nite{volume formulation. Fluxes are computed using a ux vector splitting scheme that is capable of representing constant enthalpy solutions. Second{order accuracy in smooth ow regions is obtained by linearly reconstructing the solution,...
